I can’t say enough good things about my experience with **AAMCO Transmissions in Signal Hill CA. From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated with professionalism, respect, and genuine concern for getting my vehicle taken care of the right way. What really stood out to me was the communication. Richard explained clearly, my questions were answered, and I never felt like I was being pressured into unnecessary repairs. They took the time to diagnose the problem properly and explain my options before moving forward. The team was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional throughout the entire process. It’s refreshing to find an automotive shop where you feel like the people actually care about their customers and stand behind their work. If you’re in the Signal Hill or Long Beach area and need transmission work or general automotive repairs, I highly recommend giving AAMCO Signal Hill a chance. Great customer service, honest communication, knowledgeable technicians, and quality work. Thank you to the entire AAMCO Signal Hill team for taking care of me and my vehicle. Five stars all the way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Finally getting a chance to leave a review. From beginning to end, I was really happy with Richard and his team's level of service, patience in explaining options and the technicals, good follow-ups and the cleanliness/organization of the shop. The turnaround time was reasonable given a Friday drop off and expectations being fully communicated. Thank you!

Excellent service, honest evaluations and estimates, knowledgeable mechanics, quality work and parts, and great pricing. I can't say enough good things about this shop and Richard, the guy who manages the process. They have performed two repairs in the last two years on a large truck I use for towing and I feel confident referring anyone to them. A little over a year ago they rebuilt my transmission and it's been going strong for almost 18,000 miles. I don't know a lot about transmissions even though I'm a former mechanic but it seems to drive like new. I recently had a cooling leak that was going to require many hours and removal of a lot of parts.. They completed troubleshooting and offered to repair it for a reasonable price. As a former mechanic I knew that when you're going that deep in an engine with >200,000 miles you should probably also replace other coolant system parts like the water pump, thermostat, etc. Before I could reach out about that Richard called and said that he's happy to repair the current problem but that I should consider changing the other parts. I was super happy, it showed they care about getting the job done right and also care about what happ

Rich at Aamco assisted me. I immediately felt comfortable as soon as I hung up the phone. Because of Rich and his crew at Aamco I had a wonderful, carefree vacation in Florida while my car was getting it's transmission rebuilt. I highly recommend this location. My car runs smooth and the hard shifts and stutters are gone! I have a 1 year warranty and my car has a new lease on life! Thank you Aamco! I am super stoked!

Had problems with car starting “intermittently”. Was “not” a battery or starter issue, car cranked normally. Diagnosed the problem and provided a reasonable estimate for repair. Repair was completed in a reasonable amount of time. Was extremely pleased with the Customer Service. Both Jason and Rico were extremely courteous and provided answers to all my questions without hesitation. It’s rare to find a service staff as exceptional as they were. I was treated more like a neighborhood mechanic rather than a corporate facility. Highly recommended.
